I love basketball and sneakers. My favourite player is Michael Jordan, and my favourite team is the Chicago Bulls. I designed a sneaker inspired by my favourite Air Jordans in my favourite colourway, using handmade paper. I used a sneaker key ring to make a print and carved a Nike tick from lino using carving tools and Indian ink to print circles to look like basketballs. I chose hot colours for my background to contrast against my cool coloured sneaker.

I made a collage using gardening magazines, handmade paper, Japanese paper and stickers with prints from stencils, paint and ink. I mixed crushed chalk with blue paint to make a nice texture on my blue flowers and arranged my collage in a design I liked and glued it all together. I like flowers because it looks bright and beautiful in the gardens.

I made my art from recycled handmade paper with prints and stamps. I saved my shopping receipts and fashion magazines to make paper leather. I chose a model from a fashion magazine for the main image of my collage and used my printed paper to create different layers. I glued everything together to make a collage. I added some diamantes to add some bling and sparkle to my work. I was inspired by fashion and my love for shopping.

I made little monster characters using felt pens and I found a space book from the second hand shop to cut out planets and galaxies. I made the clock from cardboard, paper and paints. I took photos of my team and I playing at the Opononi Bowling club and used these pictures as part of my collage. I used green recycled paper that I printed on using different shapes with paint. I printed out the Opononi Bowling Club logo and got inspired by the colours. I like playing bowls and competing against other players. I also like mowing the bowling green, so I added a photo of me on the ride on lawn mower.

Boss is my cat, he is so lovely. He likes cuddles and he likes to play with his toys. I started by taking photos of my cat but tt was hard to get a good photo of him. Once I found an image I liked I made it into a picture using grey, black and white handmade papers. I made different prints using these shades, ripped them into pieces and glued them together to form a picture of my cat. I used blue paper for his eyes and decided to match my background colours with his eye colour. For the background I used different types of blue handmade paper, some I dyed blue.

I made a collage inspired by the Egyptian Gods. I used hand-made paper and spray painted it gold., screwed it up a few times to give it some texture, then laid it out flat again. I created different Egyptian characters using pencil, black ink pen and felts drawing them onto brown paper shop bags using old Egyptian symbols and hieroglyphs. I cut the images into sections and burnt around the edges to make it look like the dead sea scrolls. I screwed up some of these pictures again for texture and glued them on top of my layered gold paper. I am into the dark arts.

I used handmade paper and printed on them using different stencils and different coloured paint. I punched out a tree trunk and branches using the bark print and made the bushy part of my tree using my leaf stencil print. I then used dark green Japanese paper to make the little leaves and layered this together to make my collage. I drew small characters of animals that I love including my two pet bunnies and squirrels from my home country in the UK. I am a vegan and love all animals. I would like to donate any money made from the sale of my art work to the New Zealand Anti Vivisection Society.
