We want to hear your thoughts about the draft Disability and Learning Support Action Plan

Last week the government released their draft Disability and Learning Support Action Plan.
The plan seeks to provide a wraparound coordinated response that includes access to government and community resources.
The draft plan has four priority areas:
- improving the way children and young people are assessed for additional learning needs
- strengthening the range of supports for children and young people with disabilities and additional learning needs
- improving the way the education system responds to neurodiverse learners and gifted learners
- ensuring that learning support is resourced for increased support and delivery.
We are monitoring the action plan against the wider education system reform process.
IHC has provided Associate Education Minister Tracey Martin with a template for monitoring the action plan against the wider reform process, and we are looking forward to ongoing engagement.
