This is an opportunity to help guide New Zealand's largest organisation for people with an intellectual disability. With over 4,500 staff, and asset base in excess of $800m and a brand recognised by 95% of New Zealanders. IHC is a large and complex organisation making a significant contribution to the lives of many people. 

IHC's high-performing Board of eight is looking for a capable and motivated person to join them as a member of the Board of Governance.

This is an opportunity for someone who is experienced at a senior level with strong demonstrated commercial acumen. You will have previous governance experience preferably as director of a medium/large commercial enterprise. In addition you will understand the values, complexity and dynamics of community-based non-governed organisations.

This is an opportunity to contribute to IHC in a very tangible and rewarding way.
